SUMMARY:Mega Stationery Drive
DESCRIPTION:ACHIEVED THE WORLD RECORD FOR THE LARGEST COLLECTION OF STATIONERY FOR CHARITY \nUnder the Patronage of Dubai Chamber’s Centre for Responsible Business initiative ENGAGE Dubai and with the support of Emirates Red Crescent www.education4all.info organized the largest stationery collection for charity on 13th October / 14th October at Al Diyafah High School Quasis Dubai. The event is entirely coordinated by FOI Events LLC. \nThis has created a world record by collecting more than 10\,975 Kgs of Stationery including Note Books\, Pens\, Pencils\, Crayons School Bags\, Papers etc.\, were collected within a span of 24 hours starting from 6.00 PM on 13th Oct 2016\, and completed the collection by 5.00 PM on 14th Oct 2016. \nMore than 25 institutions\, 55 corporates and many enthusiastic groups and  individuals have participated in the collection drive. Volunteers from FOI Events & other corporates\, children from Al Diyafah High School & other schools have worked tirelessly\, in the volunteering activities to collect\, sort\, pack and weigh the collections category wise. MCA Chartered Accountants were the witness for the event and verified the accuracy of the process. Jayasen Consultants provided the Consultancy for the event. \nMr. Syed Atif of ENGAGE Dubai\, Mr. Mohammed Al Zarouni\, in charge of the Charity events Emirates Cresent presided over the final concluding function in which the final count was declared by Mr. Ventesh from MCA Audit firm. Speakers appreciated the effort of Mr. Venkat from Education4All for organizing the event.  Mr.N Mohan\, FOI Events CSR Coordinator welcomed the gathering and Mr. Viswajith\, incharge of the Charity Event provided the Vote of Thanks. \nOrganisers are planning to approach Guiness Book of Record to enter in their books in the category of LARGEST COLLECTION OF STATIONERY FOR CHARITY within 24 hours. \n
